George Seferis

Geoge Sepheris was a Greek poet. He won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1963 "for his eminent lyrical writing, inspired by a deep feeling for the Hellenic world of culture" according Nobel Prize website. He was also a career dimplomat who served as an ambassador to United Kingdom from 1957 to 1962.
