Ivan Alekseyevich Bunin

Ivan Alekseyevich Bunin was a Russian writer. He was the first person from Russia to ever receive Nobel Prize in Literature though he fled the country after the Russian Revolution. He won the award, according to Nobel Prize website,  "for the strict artistry with which he has carried on the classical Russian traditions in prose writing".
