John Millington Synge

Edmund John Millington Synge was an Irish writer perhaps most famous as a playwright. He was one of the cofounders of the Abbey Theatre in Dublin along with William Butler Yeats. His The Playboy of the Western World famously caused riots during opening run at the Abbey theatre.
