John Steinbeck

John Steinbeck is an American writer who won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1962. He won the award, according to Nobel Prize website,  "for his realistic and imaginative writings, combining as they do sympathetic humour and keen social perception". He also won the Pulitzer Prizer in fiction for Grapes of Wrath.
