Juan Ramón Jiménez

Juan Ramón Jiménez was a Spanish writer who won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1953. He won the prize, according to Nobel Prize website, "for his lyrical poetry, which in Spanish language constitutes an example of high spirit and artistical purity". His most famous work, arguably, is Platero Y Yo. He was one of the modernistas.
