Larry Heinemann

Larry Heinemann is an American writer and 1987 National Book Award for Fiction for his novel Paco's Story, a story of young man who served at Vietnam. It is not his only Vietnam war related story; Black Virgin Mountain and Close Quarters also deals with the conflict. He served in Vietnam during the war. He has referred to the Vietnam as an accidental trilogy.
