Mikhail Aleksandrovich Sholokhov

Mikhail Aleksandrovich Sholokhov (Михаи́л Алекса́ндрович Шо́лохов) is a Nobel Prize winning Russian novelist. He won the prize in 1965. Nobel Prize website states he won the Nobel Prize for "for the artistic power and integrity with which, in his epic of the Don, he has given expression to a historic phase in the life of the Russian people".
