Plains song, for female voicesbyWright Morris

Plains Song is a 1981 National Book Award for Fiction winning novel by Wright Morris. It is about three generations female family members living in Nebraska. Though the scope of the story is tremendously vast, Morris does a beautiful job of coveying the story. It is notable that this book is considered to be a tremendous feminist novel because Morris have been repeatedly accused of "not doing enough justice to women".
