Historical References are actual events in history that the book is influenced by, shaped by, or explicitly about.

Adding a Historical Reference

At any time, you can add a new Historical Reference. To do so, follow these steps:

1. Simply click the link at the bottom of the Historical Reference box labeled Add a New Reference.
2. Enter a calendar year for the event. Example: 1978
3. Select a Country from the dropdown menu.
4. Enter the information of what happened in the field for Event.
5. Enter a longer (optional) description of the event.
6. Review your entry and click Submit.

Flags

The flags are meant to represent a country's internationally recognized entry.
